WHO: Pandora & William Shakespeare
WHEN: Friday afternoon (22nd)
WHERE: William's apartment
WHAT: Moody immortals are moody

Pandora had already been planning to come and see William before he'd hurt her feelings, but still it took a lot of her strength to still go. She fully expected to hear more of the same when she arrived on his doorstep, and yet here she was. Was she a masochist? Were they both? William was always talking about her dark side, about how cruel and manipulative she could be, but Pandora didn't see why he got away with such things without reproach.

Yet still she'd put on her makeup and bought a bunch of flowers and come to knock on his door, even hoping he was home.

All the writer could see now was the dark side of people. It was hard to see anything beyond his own misery. He'd lost his heart so many times, lost his itch to write, and even with Mel coaxing him and generally trying to help him, he was in his grieving period. This happened every time he lost a lady love, and he was lashing out.

The knock was a surprise, he opened the door briskly and saw a bouquet of flowers, but it was the woman behind them that he knew could drive him completely insane. "Pandora," his dark lady was making a house call. She must be angry at him or needed her own feelings consoled. She knew how to twist his head around.

"I brought you flowers," she said, making herself smile softly even though he was apparently not going to. "Thought they might brighten up your place, and maybe your mood as well." She said it gently, keeping any edge of snark out of it... for now.

She really was a weakness for him. When she came to him with an ounce of compassion, like she really loved him in some way and he wasn't just one of her playthings. He took the flowers and let her in despite the red flags going off in his head.

"Forgive me for my rudeness." He couldn't stay mad at her forever, it wasn't even really her he was mad at.

"Apology accepted," Pandora said and then she leaned in to kiss him, lips lingering against his when she was finished. When she drew back from him she said, "now find me a vase or jug to put these in."

She was so demanding. She knew she could make him bend and do whatever she wanted. He would crawl on his knees and get a vase for her if she asked. Without much of a word he went to retrieve it, sat it on the counter top in his kitchen. He had to clear away all his college books and notes. Nothing of course scribbled on his notebooks had anything akin to what he used to be able to write. All the Muses in the world and inspiration and he was just tapped out. A constant spicket of running water that had been distributed to everyone. When he wished to drink from the water, there was nothing left for him to drink.

Pandora poured water into the vase and put the flowers into it, fussing with them for a few moments while to have an excuse not to quite look at him yet. Then she turned around to meet his eye and said, "do you want to talk about it?"

It was the first time she'd seen him in person in... how many years had she been gone? Was it just the one or two? She felt like it was so easy to lose track in this long immortal life. Pandora thought that he looked more tired now, just as he'd said.

"The usual." He rubbed his short hair through his hands vigorously. "I'm the same desperate soul I was the last time you saw me." He didn't know how to counteract the swell of power he had in the world now that had left him so lifeless now. His scales had tipped over and he had no idea how to get back.

Pandora approached slowly, and then put a hand softly against his cheek. "I think sometimes you make yourself desperate," she said. His cheek was so nice under her thumb as she brushed across it, and near to him she could still feel that spark between them, that spark that could ruin them both.
