Menelaus had been doing his homework on various schools for Arianna while she stayed with a sitter. He didn't like leaving her alone any longer than he had to, but she needed to get used to being around new children and make new friends. He wasn't sure what pulled him to New York, but he'd felt it so strongly in the pit of his stomach. He knew if he didn't listen to that gut reaction he'd regret it.
So far New York was a transition for him as well. It was a much more populated city than Massachusetts. He had to reconnect himself with new people. He was scribbling down some notes that the director of one of the schools had told him, looking over and weighing his options to where he wanted to place Arianna. He didn't look up yet, but he felt a shiver race down his spine, and it nearly knocked him off his feet. He felt really unsteady and off balance, and when he looked up finally, he knew exactly why. Helen. She was as flawless as ever.
