Michael turned and offered his brother a smile. Michael's affection for sugar was a common joke among all of them, but he couldn't help that he really did love it. "Thank you," he said, ducking his head ever so slightly. While Victor hadn't known who he was when Lucifer had killed him, and still didn't know what Michael had suffered at his brother's hands, Azrael did know. Azrael had been there to dig him out of the ground. It was likely his brother would instantly know why this case was so unsettling to him and that alone was a little upsetting. Michael didn't like appearing as if he wasn't in complete control all the time. His need for company and his love for his brother outweighed his pride, however.
"Hey, man," Victor grinned at Azrael. He knew the other angel through work and now was entirely aware Azrael was an angel as well. He had always really liked Azrael. "I brought food too, and then Michael was momentarily terrifying and I dropped it."
"I-" Michael looked even more hangdog then. "I pulled my sword on him. He surprised me."
