Penthesilea set her food aside, feeling full now and wanting to focus on her companion. She hadn't meant to be stern at receiving a kiss, even if it had only been on her cheek. Penthesilea wasn't the most affectionate of people and in most cases she didn't know how to respond to others' actions. "I want to first apologize if I've seemed distant since Eros decides to include us in his Valentine's targets. With my sisters suddenly coming back from the dead not soon after, I haven't exactly felt like myself. I felt rather disconnected with myself and the world. I want you to know that I have no regrets about what happened between us and I'm not the least bit ashamed." Penthesilea paused to gauge his reaction. She didn't know how he felt about any of it. It was the most she had spoken in one sitting, at least to him and most others. She could talk all day to her sisters. "I think there was always an attraction between us, even if we never said anything. What are your thoughts, about us?" She wasn't looking for someone to sweep her off her feet. That wasn't like her. But she was curious about where he might want things to be going.
