Four months into her pregnancy, and Nikkie was really grateful to be past all the throwing up, tiredness, and mood swings. She finally felt good enough to get up and around, going shopping and getting to her doctor appointments, without feeling like she needed to take a nap as soon as she got home.
She'd texted Joey, asking if he wanted to drop by for dinner and chatting, then settled herself onto the couch with some tea to wait.
