Upon hearing that Jayden was in the hospital after being abducted, David had rushed to find his coat and wallet, then headed out to catch the train. He just felt so bad for Jayden, and he wanted to go and see with his own eyes that he was OK.

Upon arriving at the hospital, he found himself wishing that he wouldn't have to be in any of these for a really long time. Just visiting sucked, he couldn't imagine how it was for the person who had to stay there.

He inquired after Jayden at reception, taking the elevator to the right floor and padding down the hall. He rapped softly on the door, calling out, "Jayden? It's David."

"Then of course I will," he promised.

When Jayden told him that the person who took him was his dad, his brow furrowed in confusion. He knew that Jayden's father was dead, but the more he thought about it, the more it made a warped kind of sense.

"Ms. Tara did tell me there were things like that out there," he sighed. "Which she would know, because Ms. Tara's real name is Terpsichore. She's been teaching my classes for the last couple of years, which seems fitting. Muse of dance, and all that."

	Jayden's cheeks coloured and a small smile appeared on his lips. "That'd be okay," he said softly. "Uhm...can I have a kiss? Or are my lips still gross." They had cracked during the three days Jayden had spent without water, but it had been a few days now and there had been a lot of chapstick, which was one of Jayden's new favourite things. Jayden took a deep breath and he felt more relaxed than he had in a week. Knowing his father hadn't returned from the dead and his brother hadn't lied to him was a weight off his chest, but knowing David still liked him helped a lot too. "You've been so great, sticking by me. I'm going to be okay. I'm too scared to go back to live at the treatment centre so I'll be doing outpatient stuff. I still have some crap to work through."

	Jayden's body was mostly focused on healing up and there wasn't room for things like being aroused. David still caused butterflies in his belly though, and Jayden grinned at his boyfriend.
