This whole being sick was getting to her. The chemo was kicking her ass and not letting her be with her family. She'd finally drawn the line and demanded they do the surgery. But that needed more wait time to let her recover from the chemo, which is what she was doing now.

At least she looked less awful now. She looked up at Julia's voice and paused her game. "Hey auntie," she gave teasingly. Can I bribe you into helping me get up? Vic might frown though, fair warning."
