All of this seemed so...strange to Thetis. It was like they were getting to go through the courtship they'd never had, and she'd found that, well...she'd found she rather liked it. She was so used to fighting with her husband, that going out with him for hours at a time without screaming or sniping at each other, it was a pleasant change.
So when he'd suggested they go and play a few games of pool after dinner, she'd agreed. Dinner was nice and all, but it was nice to shake things up and try something different.
The atmosphere in the pool hall was comfortable and rowdy, music coming from the corners. She grinned and tested a few cues in her hands before choosing one she could use the best. "I haven't gotten to play pool in...oh, ages," she said to him.
