Their dating had been something of a casual thing, and Jessie had been enjoying that. Hati was attractive and interesting and a part of her wanted to move faster, but she'd kept to a suitable speed to things.

In the bathroom at the restaurant, Jessie adjusted her hair and observed herself in the mirror. She looked good, she thought. Great dress choice, nice makeup, enough sleep last night to look properly healthy and alive. And Hati (Jessie thought with a smile) looked good. She couldn't quite remember right now what he was wearing, but he had a smile that suggested all sorts of naughty things to her all the time and it was very distracting.

She grinned at her reflection and nodded. Making her way back out to the table she sat down across from him with a smile. The plates had all been taken away while she was gone and she reached out to finish her wine. "How about," Jessie suggested, "we get out of here and go back to mine?"

Humans, it turned out, were still drawn to the predator inside him. Somehow, somewhere they noticed he wasn't fully human and it appealed to them. At least, such was his experience with Jessie. He'd neither pressed nor ran to quickly at her, sensing her hesitations and laying in wait for the right moment to strike.

Hati was a very good predator and this was nothing new. He found her appealing in ways he did not find Greta appealing. He had no desire to bring her into the pack, but he did want to see this through to the end.

He'd waited for her return, watching the other humans around. For amusement, he'd cowed a few males already and one looked ready for a challenge. Any day else, and Hati would teach him the error of his ways.

He looked up as Jessie returned and smiled at her before tilting his head at her question. Interesting. "I think, I would like that very much." He set his hand over hers. "I'm in no rush though."

	"Well," Jessie admitted with a little smile as she thought about it, "I am." She rubbed her thumb across the rough skin of his hand and then stood up. "I'll get the bill," she told him, "and then we can take off." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He gave her another smile before shaking his head and pulling out his wallet. "I can pay as well you know. Only fair." He gave her some bills and then a wink. "I'll wait at the door." 	If he wanted to pay as well, then Jessie wouldn't argue. She felt no need to make paying for dinner some argument or power show. It was just dinner. She went to pay and when she came out to meet Hati it was to lean up and kiss him. "Thank you for coming out tonight," she said with a smile when she finally broke away. 	He smiled into the kiss and all too happily returned it. He was rather enjoying this, even if he couldn't be truly what he was. He gave her a smile as she broke free. "Pretty girl asks me to come out, of course I come." He winked to her. "Thank you for inviting." Casually he went to set his arm around her. "Shall we?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Let's," Jessie agreed, feeling a happy tingle beneath her skin. She lead him towards her place - not far from where they were - chatting casually about nothing of great importance. She liked Hati's arm around her as they walked and once on the way they stopped so that she could kiss him again, drawing his body against hers.

Her apartment was on the first floor of her building in Chinatown and Jessie let Hati in, tossing her keys onto the sideboard as they entered. "My humble abode," she told him, taking it all in herself and wondering how he saw it. Clean but a little unorganised with things, photos in frames on the walls - Jessie with her siblings, Jessie's parents looking happy together, a baby sleeping in a crib, a fourteen year old Jessie grinning from the back if a horse.

He rather liked her kisses and how eager she seemed. It would seem tonight would be rather interesting. He wondered how much of his true self he could let out before it would make her uncomfortable.

He looked around, knowing she was essentially letting him into her den.He had an apartment himself but it wasn't his den. Few ever got to see that, and never a human. Greta wasn't human so she was allowed. "Nice place." Casually he looked around, like he was in no rush and would still let her change her mind if she wanted. "Better then mine."

	Jessie smiled at the compliment on her apartment (because she knew she'd lucked out with it) and then she asked, "would you like some more wine?" She came over towards him, her expression a little playful. "Not that I'm trying to get you drunk or anything." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He far from minded, really. He smiled into the kiss before setting his hands on her hips and returning the kiss. This was much better then wine. (Reply to this) (Parent)
