Sif had forgotten the other man in the room and she walked away from them now, stepping out from the circle they'd formed around her and a little further into the building and towards... she'd already forgotten what they'd called him. It wasn't his name though.
Sif could feel herself trembling, but she couldn't allow herself to believe what she was already thinking. No, to even let herself think it would lead to pain.
She kept distance between them, not too close yet, still quite a space, still closer to the gaggle of men who wanted her than the one who ignored her. "Are you sure?" was what she asked, her voice low as she tried to tilt and get a look at his face. "You've been working hard all day."
