"I certainly hope so," she sighed. "He just seems so angry all the time, and sometimes I feel like I can't do anything at all to help him." She trailed her fingers through the water, tracing designs in the wet sand. "It's my eternal struggle, I suppose." She rubbed a hand over her drawings, smoothing them away like they'd never been. "Our struggle, I suppose I should say."
