Who: Jared and Lydia
What: Jared's being overdramatic and thinking of moving out of his sister's/Lydia's apartment
Where: Their apartment
Warnings: Jared's high and cursing and upset

Jared had never been the favored one. His dad was only proud of him when he graduated from a community college with a degree in business....which he didn't use. His mother paid more attention to Jenny and when the whole "she's really my half sister" bit came out it kind of burned a hole in their pretty little suburban life. Jared had spent most of his time in half-assed, low pay jobs mooching off anyone that gave him a roof over his head while he spent his mornings wasted and high.

He hadn't smoked in years. He had a job now with a boss that actually liked him. He was still mooching off his sister's and Lydia's space, but well he was stuck in a rut. When Jenny went missing for so long he did actually freak a bit. That's when he started smoking again. Just a little. Now she was back and trying to tell him what he felt didn't matter because it wasn't real. The last few months he'd been around were the most he'd ever spent with her. Even as children he'd wanted nothing to do with her. He was trying to make an effort here, but as with most things in his life he fucked that up too. But he thought for a second that maybe she was better than mom or dad because they would have kicked him out long ago. He didn't want the embarrassment.

He guessed Jenny just saw the same failure they did. So he was blaming her for leaving without even trying to understand what had happened. Their mom had known about it while he and Lydia didn't know shit. He was pissed. He felt he had every right to be. Jared was shoving stuff in his duffle, hunting the apartment for anything else he'd left laying around. He knew when he wasn't wanted.
