"Excellent," he said grandly, raising his mug in a toast. "And yeah, I'm firmly in the camp of everyone doing what they love if they can."
He nodded. "Figured it was at least worth a shot, you know? And now I'm one of those obnoxiously happy people." He grinned. "And I think I can do the medals. Probably even the sash. I can help enable the weirdness."
He looked down at his coffee when she mentioned her grandfather. "About that," he began. "I've debated whether or not to tell you this for a while, mostly because she asked me not to, but it's stressing her out to no end, so." He sighed, taking a huge swallow of coffee. "Did you know you have an aunt, KitKat?"
