She finally turned to look at him, her chin held high and a steely glint in her eyes. "I have never slunk anywhere in my life. Unlike you. You barely even noticed I was gone. As ever, in all things, I act more regal than you ever did."
She eyed the water with a smirk. "Really now," she murmured, stretching out her arms, hands pressed flat. She jerked them apart quickly, and the spinning waves parted, falling away like they had never been.
"Pathetic," she told him, rolling her eyes. "You will never cage me again, in this form or any other. And it is high time you accepted that fact."
