Bowing his head, Thomas let out a shaky breath of relief. Not that what Jamie had gone through was fine, but Thomas was so grateful it hadn't been worse.
"Jamie," he said slowly, "I'm so, so sorry. I could kill him."
Lena, who was still completely lost as to what this all had to do with Thomas and money, never stopped rubbing Jamie's back. "I'm going to make you something to eat, hmm? Both of you," she said, reaching out to squeeze Thomas' shoulder.
Thomas understood the demons who had Jamie were trying to make him feel guilty for the things Thomas had gone through while raising his son. It made him sick to his stomach that the demon had gone there. "I- I don't want you to feel guilty about that."
