She looked to the girl and raised her chin. "Calm down child. All these things can be answered but you must listen to those answers." She set her hands on the table in front of her. "What those are, are ghosts. Spirits of those who cannot, or will not, cross over. Some are being punished. Some hope to gain favor so they may cross Styx without paying. Despite my telling them otherwise."
She shrugged. "Your blood lets you see those. Hekuba tells me you smell of my husband. And I don't recommend you running. Face the answers girl. You have the blood of an Olympian in you. Try and do it proud."
