Oedipus had been hit every Valentine's Day for what felt like the last ten years. Eros must have found him entertaining. What wasn't funny about a crazy little man who was terrified of women fall in love with them and not remember the next day. It drove Oedipus a little more crazy each time. It wasn't enough that he'd had a fling with his own mother a second time years ago, or that in some sad, twisted way loved her because she made him a better person. He'd fallen in love with Jocasta, not the blood relation. Every person on this earth though world haunt him with it until the end if time. It was a dark cloud to follow him no matter how hard he tried to reinvent himself. He wasn't a time Lord, he couldn't rewrite history or escape his fate. He was always meant to fail and to suffer the consequences. Now, the gods were just laughing at him with their hypocritical bullshit.
Loving someone he wasn't supposed to wasn't enough. Now he was plagued by fake feelings for someone he didn't know one again. He tried each time to hold on to his sanity but it wouldn't help, he was already rosy cheeked and laughing at himself and thus mystery woman. He'd know her when he saw her, and he knew she'd find him.
