In truth, Syn had hardly any time to catch up to the Aesir. The only one sh'ed said anything to was Frigga. But that was different. She belonged to Frigga, just as she belonged to the frightened mortal girls who came in and asked for her aid. For Frigga, she'd drop everything, but the lady was kind enough not to ask.
It was what made Syn so loyal. Because Frigga understood. Especially in this world, where no was hardly ever listened to.
So she was half surprised when her secretary came in, one of the girls she'd saved and was now like she had been to Frigga (strange how that went), and announced the name. "Let him in." She'd risen when he did come in, because he was son to the All-Father and she just an attendant. She had no noble blood, but her and Heimdallr were alike. He'd always given her that courtesy, on those infrequent occasions they'd crossed paths.
So she smiled. "Heimdallr, "she offered in their own tongue. "It's good to see you."
