Lena, who hadn't left Kat's side since Thomas had headed out to smoke, leaned in to ask, "do you need anything, Kat?" She wasn't used to pregnant people or babies and so she was sort of convinced Kat was now permanently in some state of requiring something.
Thomas swore under his breath and then he said, "he didn't contact any of the rest of the family either. Nor his mother who's on her way over."
"That helps us narrow down the time," Victor said, trying to sound reassuring. He was about to say something else when his phone rang.
He held up his hand and went to answer it. Then he frowned and said, "Thanks, Pete," before hanging up. "Jamie's phone isn't on so they can't trace it. They're going to leave an alert on it though, so if it turns back on, they can have us a location immediately."
