She sighed and shook her head. "You're stubborn. At least Patrick listens to me." He'd been willing to change, or at least admit a change was needed. And she didn't have the same tie to Padraig that she had with Patrick.
"And this is why I'd be agnostic if I could. I never demanded anything like this from any of my writers. Not even my father does this." She rose at the knock on the door. "I don't understand it. I really don't." She walked to the door to let Aesculapius in and smiled at him. She explained the basics before leading him to Padraig.
"Aesculapius, this is Patrick and Padraig. This is my nephew. He'll help." Aesculapius nodded and sat down, noting the marks on Padraig's back. "Well it won't be pleasant," the healer offered. "But let's see what we can do."
