Charles sighed and he turned to look sadly at her. "You don't have to say anything," he assured her. He knew she must feel helpless and out of her depth, but he was just so glad she was here with him. "As long as I'm not alone right now, that's what matters. I tried to shut out those memories for so long. I think- It's almost cathartic to get them out."
