Ah, and now came the talking about herself part of this exchange. She knew she'd want to do some editing of some of her years in New York. "Let's see," she said, "I was born and raised in Hawaii along with two half-sisters, both younger. I moved to New York when I was twenty-two and I've worked a lot of dead end jobs here, but now I'm studying to be a volcanologist. In my spare time I read a lot, and I do gymnastics and, uh, I make and sell jewelry," she said, touching the silver pendent hanging around her neck. "I think that's probably everything interesting," she told him with a grin.
