She walked towards the kitchen, dragging him along behind her with a smile as she said, "I'll be more than happy to play distraction."
In the kitchen she flicked on the lights and opened the fridge to peer in, finding a plastic container of chicken leftover from one of the warriors (Mary assumed). "Back in the seventies," Mary said, opening the containing and pulling out a leg, "I was vegetarian. I don't know why that happened, but I'm sure glad it didn't last."
Mary lifted herself up onto the counter, sitting there to eat the chicken.
