"Some things are more difficult to replace than others." She was thinking only of Set then, one of the only things in life that truly was irreplaceable to her. In this world it always came down to only three constant centres for Nephthys: Isis, Osiris, and Set. Everything else could come and go. Everything else meant very little in the long run.
"There is one of their underworld gods somewhere in the city," Nephthys considered outloud, trying to remember the last time she'd seen the river who shared her role with humanity. "I enjoyed his company. Underworld gods I understand better than most others."
