Who: Deirdre of the Sorrows and Perseus
What: Visiting the homeland
When: Tuesday
Where: Armagh in Ulster, Ireland
Warnings: TBD

Going back home was always strange. But Perseus wanted to see it, and maybe it would mean more happy memories rather then sad ones. She'd grown up in the country, but she'd also died here. And while it made her heart ache a bit, it wasn't as bad as it usually was. Maybe it was because she was happy, that she had someone who supported her so and was willing to save her if she needed him to. But it also came with the migraines that were the sings of her death, so she'd spend the first day bedridden and apologizing for it.

But today she was determined to show Perseus around, plus she wanted to go to Patrick's Church too. He was her friend and she'd seen the place built. But she had no idea how she'd react to seeing Emain Macha again, especially because she tended to avoid it whenever she did visit. Maybe the headache would cripple her again, or she'd faint from the hunger that some said was her other death. But she'd try to show it to Perseus, and then hopefully guide him to where she'd grown up. Conchobar had kept her close, but far away from other men. So she knew it wouldn't be far, even if there was no physical remnant anymore.

She hoped to avoid her other self as well. This version of her was much sadder, and she knew Conchobar's other self may be lurking as well. Not to mention Naoise. That'd just make everything all the more awkward.

After dressing she'd found something to eat before finding Perseus. She'd dressed for a hike, and was making sure to have supplies if needed. She smiled at him when she finished packing. "Alright. It's not a far walk to Emain Macha. I'm not terribly sure how I'll react so I'll apologize in advance. I have medicine if it's the headaches and something to eat for the hunger. From the hill I'll know where to go." She frowned, "just talk to me if I get sad. It's very strong here." She didn't always like it when she became so morose, but she knew it was part of her.
