Satan was downright wounded that Azrael hadn't told him about the new woman in his life. They were brothers. Brothers shared things like this.
At least, that was what Satan planned to say, in between laughs, when Azrael inevitably interrupted this little lunchtime meeting by slamming Satan through a wall.
In the meantime, though, she was sitting on the veranda of the cafe she'd agreed to meet Svetlana at and keeping an eye out for the little mortal. She had to admit, she was a little curious about what Azrael was doing with a mortal. Her un-Fallen brothers generally seemed entirely sexless, and Azrael had always taken the rules so very seriously.
But there was a first time for everything.
