WHO: Victor and Kat
WHAT: Finding out the baby's birth gender
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon
WHERE: Home, then Doctor's office, then maybe home?

Their appointment with the doctor was soon, and Victor was visibly excited. Today, if baby Skynet cooperated, they would be able to tell the baby's birth gender. Of course there was always the chance baby Skynet might be facing the wrong way and in that case it would mean waiting, but Victor was excited at just the idea of it. It made his child ever more a reality in his mind. He honestly could not wait to be a father.

He patted Ace goodbye as he waited for Kat to meet him at the door. "Who's a good boy? Is it you?! I think it's you, yes I do!" he cooed to the dog.

	It was honestly adorable seeing Vic this excited. She was too, but she'd come to realize she needed to go shopping too. She was outgrowing a bunch of things. She'd found something and smirked as she found Victor with Ace. "Don't get him too excited." She leaned down to scratch Ace behind the ears before getting her coat and putting it on. "All set?" 	"I don't want to, but I need to. Especially if I want to look presentable for Rose's wedding." With a smile she slid into the car and buckled up. "And some more books, because I love you but I have no idea what yours say, except that law is complicated. But I'm still glad I took the semester off, even with having little to do." 	"We'll do it then," he said, slipping into the driver's seat. "I love my law books too, but I wouldn't necessarily read them for leisure." That he reserved for Mr Stephen King. The drive to the doctor's was uneventful and they even managed to get a good parking spot. "Here we go," he said with a grin. "Are you hoping for a specific birth gender?" 	"Yeah turns out thrillers make my dreams really interesting. So I switched to law books then realized it's very much not for me. So more books it is." She got out once they were parked, "not really. 	"Hey, I'm nothing if not supportive," he grinned at her. "I don't think I have a preference. It would be really great to have a son, but I feel the same way about a daughter. 	She nodded, "well thank goodness it's only one heartbeat. I think I can handle one baby. Although I'm seriously hoping it'll take after me and not the tall people in the room." She smiled, "good, I'm happy." She didn't want him to lose a friend over the entire debacle. She looked up as the nurse waved them through and rose. "That'll be us." 	She was sure that without him, she'd be a mess. Gratefully she took his hand as the doctor brought up the sonogram. Seeing the baby always made her heart skip a little and when asked if they wanted to know, she nodded. When he told her it would be a girl she gave a grin.
