Who: Poseidon and Wrath
What: Wrath pulls a favor for her brother. Poseidon's been handed his ass in Hades by Zeus, he's not afraid of Christians.
When: Thursday
Where: On his way home from work
Warnings: It's Poseidon and Wrath, it's gonna get bloody and all kinds of nasty.
Theseus had shown up to work late that day, but Poseidon was on his own high horse. He'd beaten Zoe into submission finally, now he had Theseus go track down all the other pieces of his trident. The kid needed to prove he was worth something, though leading him straight to his granddaughter and offering her up on a platter---that had been kind of him. Poseidon had needed an excuse to rough someone up, it had been ages since he felt like King. Zeus could scorn him all he wanted for keeping out of his children's lives, but fucking with others had his blood running again. Being a father made him too soft. Valencia and Amphitrite were his treasures, but not even she could keep a bad man down for good. His old ways were creeping back in.
He waltzed into Theseus' office with a map and a list of places that most couldn't even wrap their tongue around to pronounce. "You got one piece of the puzzle, now it's time you find the rest." He slammed a heavy finger into the papers. That was an order. Theseus looked at that dagger like finger back up to his father's face with trepidation. He had a lot to say and every time he was ready to pin Poseidon's ears back his voice fell flat. He cleared his throat and looked down. "I'm on it."
Poseidon stood straightening the lapels of his suit jacket. "That's a smart boy," he rolled out in a demonizing voice. "Lock up when you leave." He was going home early. He'd victimized enough people during the day. It was time to kick back on his throne (these days the best recliner money could buy) and watch things unfold. Poseidon was in the parking garage when there was that tingly sensation that shot down his back indicating he wasn't alone, but he didn't see anyone. He stepped back from his open car door, keys swinging around his finger with his arms stretched out, silently daring whomever was there to come out. He took a few turns.
"Come out, come out wherever you are? I'm waiting." As most knew, Poseidon hated waiting. The move from the shadows caught his eye and he grinned manically. Whoever it was was no threat to him.
