"She did," he nodded. "And I was a little confused by it." The idea that this man was the spirit of Death made him feel very strange. The rest of what Thanatos said made him feel better, however. "Ah. Well...people have to die, to do so gently sounds better than the alternative." He felt a little silly saying so, but what else could he say?
"Well...nice to meet you, Thanatos. Does my mother know who you are?" She did not, to his knowledge, know about immortals. But if she knew who Thanatos was, that would mean he could fill her in on other things.
