It was a stroke of luck really. He'd been hunting for a new place, and this one had just popped up. It was a little on the expensive side, but that's where decades of savings tended to come in handy. And his alias was renowned enough to warrant it. Plus considering everything he wanted to make sure that his child would have everything. It was also within walking distance of Thalia's place so it all worked out.
He'd purchased it without really looking, trusting the agent responsible, and had taken his belongings to the new place. He'd come to realize he needed more furniture. His little cove up the workplace had only a bed, a table and a couch. A house would need mote then that. But he'd shrugged and figured he'd go shopping during the next week. IT did save time on moving though as everything he owned had fit into moderately few boxes.
He was in the middle of taking his boxes in (he'd hired people to take his bed and minor furniture in) when he spotted the young woman watching from the door. Happy to get a good relationship with his neighbors he put his box down and walked the distance to offer his hand. "Afternoon. I'm your new neighbor." It seemed to pay off as the girl shook his hand and introduced herself, "Kat Lowsley." With a nod, he released her hand, "Theon Desmotes."
Kat raised her eyebrows at this and studied the man more closely. She knew Greek well enough to know what it meant, before smiling, "Curious considering that's a title." It was rather amusing to see the man get a tad nervous and look around like a deer in the headlights. Chuckling she shook her head, "relax. My own grandfather has one too. His is Angelos Athanatôn." That seemed to make a lightbulb appear over the man's head and he shrugged, then grinned. "Ah, then Prometheus."
Despite the expectations that was a bit heavy. She'd always admired that Titan. "Wow," Kat offered. "You're kind of awesome." It made Prometheus give a wry smile before Kat looked into the house, "Hey Vic, come meet the new neighbor. You'll get a kick out of this."
