The guy she described sounded like an older, angrier version of himself. When people were lonely they took it to extremes if they wanted something. Jared just didn't care anymore. He tried to give her a smile, like Jenny's roommate suggested but it looked like a smiling chimp. He was both glad and not that he had a job.
"No paperwork?" He pushed the empty plate towards her. "Don't you want to know about me or where I come from. I'm just a stranger." He wouldn't hire him. He also didn't see his own potential.
