Mary considered his words, tempted by the idea very much for a moment. Then she finally said, "no, I don't think they deserve to die. Yet," she added after a moment. "If they try to hurt their wives again though, then I won't be so lenient. I might kill them myself if it came to that. They've already been warned not to cross me and I think I left an impression."
