The hug was more then appreciated. She could be excited once she'd let this settle in her head and knew how to handle it. And all of that was easier when she sat down. At the very least she could begin thinking of the next steps.
She shook her head and took his hand. "I'm good. I just need to think for a minute. And let this all kind of settle. It's just really, really big." She ran her fingers through her hair to help with that.
She turned to him though, "no matter what I don't want you giving up your course for this. You love this. I don't want you regretting. I know you say you won't, but still. Continue your plans." She took a breath, "how are you, anyway?"
