Padraig had simply let George be. He didn't want to force his brother to speak, especially if he was still working through his feelings.
He did, however, occasionally bring George things to eat and drink, because letting his brother just waste away there on the sofa wasn't on Padraig's list of things he wanted to accomplish with his eternal life.
"Brought you soup and soda bread," he said, setting them on the coffee table before claiming the chair opposite his brother. "There's tea too."
