"Nothing beyond hello," Clotho told him. "I heard that first voice, and then it was like you were coming out of a trance."
Lachesis had come downstairs at some point during the conversation, and walked up behind Atropos, resting her chin on her sister's shoulder. "I heard we had a visitor," she said, smiling warmly at him, offering her hand.
"Lachesis, Metatron," Clotho elected to do introductions again. "Metatron, Lachesis." Lachesis' eyes widened slightly. "What?" Atropos asked.
"Metatron is the Voice of God," Lachesis explained. "The Judeo-Christian god speaks through him."
All three sisters turned in unison to look at him. "Well that's something you don't see everyday," Atropos said at last.
