It was nice to have a night off from her studies. It was literally impossible to cram any more information in her head, and if she didn't know it now, she never would.
She'd appreciated the ride, too. Kat didn't own a car (it seemed silly in the city) and was nervous around them. She only trusted a few to drive, and none of the people on the road.
So she was relaxing on her favorite seat and reminded she still missed home. Everything felt so familiar here, and safe. "Try taking over again?" she offered wit ha smirk, "which reminds me, I need to drag Victor out here so dad can ask him all the questions and do his imposing dad speech."
