Idunn's eyes widened and she nodded quickly with understanding, glad to share the idea with someone: "the first time I went on an elevator I thought I was going to have a heart attack! Terrifying!"
"I think," Idunn said, considering it, "that those of us who looked enough like humans got to stay looking like humans, but those of us that weren't had to change. I'm not quite sure I get it all, but Loki's wolf brood are here and they walk around like men instead of wolves. But," she said more cheerfully, "there are a few of us here in the city, even if it's not as many as I'd like. No Odin though," she told him. "Sorry."
"You're welcome," she laughed as he admired the apple. "I miss the days when I would sit and feed you more apples than I was supposed to."
