Higher Education looked up, giving the man before him a cursory look. He didn't recognise the man right off of the bat, but there was something familiar about him that set off a small alert in the psychopomp's brain. Usually, that sense of familiarity meant that the individual was either a devoted student or professor - however, what reading and hypothesizing he had already managed to get done presented the possibility of that particular brain-itch signalling something else. That something else, namely, being be another psychopomp.
There was also the fact that the man had just referenced his research, meaning that, most likely, he had read it off of Higher Education's blog. That offered an explanation but unfortunately did almost nothing to narrow down the man's identity.
Higher Education carefully closed his pad, tapping a pen against the cover. He nodded once, curtly. "Yes, I am. I apologise, but who are you? I can't recall your name at the moment."
