He felt that larger hand wrap around his own and his heart seemed to speed up. He idly swiped his tongue over his lips, tasting wine on them- wine he hoped he hadn't spilled into his lap or onto the floor at this point.
"Not anymore." he smiled. He swept his hair away from his face with a soft little gesture, letting it roll over his shoulders. "My ride did ditch me, though." he shrugged. Ganymede could prattle on forever and it would still seem dull compared to what the King of the Gods had to say. His fingers were gentle against his skin, wanting to adore and soothe.
He bit his lip. He had missed him. Unspeakably. And he couldn't just leap into his arms without causing a scene. So he had to settle for this, at least for the moment.
