Thomas, on the other hand, was having a great day. He had spent so long worrying and breaking down, that finding out he was symptomless felt like a weight had lifted off his shoulders. It didn't mean he wouldn't be sick tomorrow or in a month or in several years, but he was okay today. Celebrating it with Lena was perfection.
They shared an early dinner with the intention of going to see a movie afterwards. Instead, however, the pair of them returned to Thomas' apartment with something else entirely in mind. Before they even reached the front door they were kissing, and Thomas had to fumble for his keys. It took him rather a long time to actually get the door opened. And when it gave way, the two of them spilled inside, laughing and kissing. Lena pushed Thomas into the kitchen and there she tried to pull his tie over his head where it got stuck in his mouth. "Auughgh!" he said, before she managed to remove it and toss it aside. They they dissolved into laughter.
Thomas yelped a little when Lena pushed him back into the kitchen counter and kissed him hard. Her lips trailed kisses down to his neck and when he turned to give her better access, he caught sight of poor Jamie.
"Oh shit!" He pushed Kat gently away so he could jump off the counter. "Jamie!" Thomas rushed over to his son's side, still quite flushed from the impromptu make-out session he had just put on pause. "Jamie, what happened?"
