Datura heard his voice come filtering in, calm and rhythmic. And even though she knew you couldn't actually see your own energy, she visualized it as a column of light coiled at her base. She imagined tugging on it gently, letting it untangle and cover her from head to foot. And as she did so, she held her old face in her mind. He was right, it did feel like meeting another immortal, but...more, somehow.
The sensation spread through her torso, slowly at first, then slightly faster, wrapping itself around her arms and legs to cover her fingers and toes. It swept up her neck and over head, like someone had thrown a sheet of silk over her face. It made her breath quicken slightly, her heart beat more rapidly. Like standing on the edge of that cliff all those years ago, just waiting to jump.
And in that next moment, it was like all the little tendrils in her cloth of light came back to their origin point. It didn't hurt, but it did feel...a little bit strange, and she let out a small gasp. She felt warm all over, comfortable despite the fact she was sitting on a hard wooden floor.
The feeling eventually ebbed away, and she cautiously opened one eye. "Krishna?" she asked quietly. "Did...did it work?"
