Jamie trailed after him, a bit slower than usual. He pulled on his own coat, turning everything his father had told him over and over in his mind. It was a lot to take in, that his grandfather was dying, that they had to go get tested, that both of them might have the same disease. It felt like a weight settling in his chest.
"I'll try my best," he said with a small smile. "As long as you don't hit anything, we should be fine."
