The warmth of his touch lingered even as he drew back; the back of her hand tingled where his lips had brushed the skin. They'd played out this scene a hundred times before, in a hundred different settings, and yet still she felt a quiet thrill. In that moment, she wanted nothing more than to sink into her husband's arms.
