“Your battle station,” Higher Education said flatly. Adjusting his glasses, he took a few moments to glance over the entire setup, gaze focusing briefly on the background. His mouth quirked in a small smile. “It’s impressive, to be perfectly frank.”
The computer was, as a matter of fact, extremely impressive; were he not already equipped with a suitably-comfortable workspace and possessing of a job schedule that necessitated a portable computer, Harvard would be more than slightly jealous of the entire thing. As it were, he was already faintly enamored with it. Regardless of what 4chan actually used the setup for - he had no delusions that it was anything that he himself would consider 'productive work' by any means, and in all honestly it was very likely that a good portion of 4chan's online activities were in some way illegal - it looked like a very capable place to work. The multiple screens meant that you could run several windows at the same time, without switching back and forth. Imagine what he’d be able to do without having to switch browsers, for example; with all those half-seconds shaved off of the time spent while working...
“It definitely looks…invested,” the god said, choosing his words carefully, “not to mention personalized.” Higher Education placed a hand on the back of the chair, swiveling it back and forth. “The fact that you have the multiple screens set up to provide a continuous field of vision means that you won’t strain your lateral and medial rectus muscles concentrating on one small screen of text or images, at least. The background is a nice touch. I assume you have a microphone-earpiece setup to wear if you want to communicate verbally while typing.” He let his hand drop off of the chair and worm its way into his pocket. “A padded mousepad is a nice thing to have.”
