It didn't stop her from crying, and unable to do much besides just lean against him. She stayed like that for a while, until she felt a touch calmer. At least calm enough to where she could stop crying and take a breath.
"I'm sorry," she offered as she wiped her tears away. "I don't want you to make that choice. I do understand. He didn't even hurt me I don't get why I'm all like this." She sighed, "well, save for the memories." she brushed her fingers along her palms for a moment and tried for a weak smile. "Can you stay? Tonight? I just don't feel like being alone right now."
