"I already told him about my first semester of university," Thomas explained, hoping it wouldn't go any further.
It wasn't his mother's fault that she said, "he was exactly the same, and not just during his first semester at University. When you were very young as well." She didn't know Thomas hadn't actually spoken to Jamie about that. "Not that we knew at the time, of course. All we knew was he asked us to take care of you for a few days every so often."
