Zoe's shouted back at him, "It has nothing to do with your Sin! You don't understand because you're a stupid asshole!" she hadn't even been thinking about his Sin, she almost never thought of it until things like the dance and him heating up reminded her he was different.
Her face burned with humiliation as he brutally pointed out that she still wanted him. Only twelve hours ago he'd rejected her, he'd walked away from her because it was weird or whatever and she wasn't enough. He didn't want her, fine.. but now no one else did either?
The second her door opened and he stepped through it, she shoved at his back hard. "No!" she shouted at him, not caring that Mike could see them now and hear them perfectly. She pointed a finger at Greed, emotions and tears swimming in her eyes as her voice was watery but still forceful, "You don't get to walk out on me." there was only so much humiliation she'd put up with as she moved past him and left the apartment. She didn't care that Mike was there or Greed was there or that it was her goddamn apartment. Both those boys had walked away from her before and now it was her turn.
------------------ Greed didn't put his anger on Zoe, it went directly to Mike. Before the other man could blink, Greed grabbed him by his collar and slammed him into the wall, picking his feet up off the ground. "You might like me, but I don't like you. I don't know your play," he laughed a little, "I do know that look. You do anything and I'm one step behind. I can't influence her, but I sure as hell will show you for what you are and rip you apart." Be dropped the man to his feet, straightening out his collar and walking out the front door.
He pulled out his phone calling Zoe so he could locate what direction she had gone in. She might not even pick up, but he wasn't going to stop.
------------------ Mike set his jaw and his lips curled in a silent snarl. But he had to decide what was more important, this creep... or getting Zoe back. If this lunatic behaved like this then it might actually be in his favor. He didn't understand really some of what Greed said but he knew that if he gave Greed enough rope, he'd hang himself with it. He knocked Greed's hands off him and straightened out his own collar. He'd let those two work their shit out, a less emotional Zoe would be easier to take care of. She always was difficult to deal with when she got high strung.
Zoe indeed did not answer her phone but that actually would help Greed if he made it to the stairs, the phone was going off showing she was almost to the bottom of the stairs. She didn't care who was calling her, she didn't think she could face either of those boys right now. She wanted to get outside and just get lost in a crowd.
------------------ Greed put his phone away making a rush down the stairs, not even out of breath when he reached her. "Zoe," he didn't want this. He hated when she threw up walls he couldn't get through. He had to find a crack to seep in.
He grabbed her wrist before she stepped outside into the crowd, though he would dive through it and chase her down one way or another. She had to face him, because he would come at her.
------------------ Zoe tried to yank her wrist out of his grasp, "Let go!" she exploded at him. She didn't want him to touch her, she didn't want to talk to him, she didn't want to be near him. She couldn't look at him because she didn't know if she could handle it.
------------------ "I told you once I wasn't going anywhere. I'm not gonna let someone else hurt you either. Zoe---" he pleaded then tugging her toward him even if she didn't look at him. He'd not made a good case ruining every date she went on. None of them were a threat. This guy was sneaky. This one worried him.
