With the holidays out of the way, the apartment was much less festive, for one, but also less crowded. Nevertheless, it was a quaint place. Much of the furniture was second hand-- Kindness didn't believe in buying all new furniture when so many pieces ended out on the street. Not to mention it cost money that could be put to better use. Speckled here and there were personal artifacts from both her and Temperance, but it was difficult to tell which belonged to them respectively. After all, their tastes were so similar.
The Virtue had just taken a batch of baked goods out of the fridge for cooling when the knock rang out, and tucking a lock of blonde behind one ear, she made for the door at a leisurely pace. The situation at hand was quite serious, but Kindness never liked it when her heart raced.
Upon pulling the door open, she offered a soft smile. "Hello, George," greeted she. "I'm happy you could make it." To the side she stepped, in order to allow him passage into the apartment.
