Zoe laughed softly, her tummy vibrating under him, "Good. And don't do that, it tickles." she gave him a look, "You do realize this also means no more sleepovers, right? Guys tends to not like the girls they're dating to spend their nights with handsome dudes that use them as pillows." pointing out that was exactly what he was doing.
She looked to the door, fully intent on kicking him out when she frowned and looked from the door back to him, "Poseidon's not.. I mean.. he can't find you or anything, right? You don't think he somehow followed us..?" it was a ridiculous notion really but Zoe had gotten freaked out enough to entertain ridiculous notions. She wouldn't kick Greed out of her apartment (or her bed) if it meant that Poseidon might hurt him or her.
------
Greed gave her the giant puppy eyes. "That means no bonfires and marshmellow smores. Zoe, are you trying to kill me?" He doodled an invisible design on her tummy. Her question however raised the idea that she didn't want him to leave as quickly as she'd intended.
"And if he did?" He raised his eyes from her stomach to hers, looking around as if there was a possibility a raging Greek god of earthquakes could be lurking in the shadows. He wasn't hardly worried, but he could play off hers.
------
Zoe "It means you have to start behaving yourself. I doubt it'll kill you." she swatted at him to get him to stop touching her stomach, it was.. just not helping things.
She kicked at him with her feet, looking worried, "Don't scare me.." she said in a chiding voice. She looked to the door and then back to Greed, "You said there wasn't anything to worry about and you know about immortal stuff more than I do. You'll be okay, right?" getting closer to kicking him out but she really wasn't completely sure that Greed wouldn't get hurt by Poseidon if he went out tonight. She'd feel awful if he got hurt because of her.
------
"I did say that. But Greeks are crazy..." He gave her a half smile. "He could be standing right outside on the street just waiting for me." He walked his fingers up her chest until he reached her nose which he poked. He pulled himself up beside her. "He could be waiting to drown me." He was playing up the hurt puppy look as much as he could. He knew Zoe had more of a conscious than he did.
------
Zoe bit her bottom lip and eyed him, she knew he was lying but there was a chance he wasn't. She wrinkled her nose after he poked it, "I hate you." but the more he talked, that worry crept back in her features. She didn't even realize when she unconsciously leaned into him a little when he mentioned drowning. She sighed, "If he's still out there then I guess... maybe you could stay..." she pointed at her bedroom door, "..on the sofa."
------
He'd begrudgingly took the couch for the night only to sneak back into her bed when she was dead asleep. He didn't like sleeping alone on a springy couch without anyone to cuddle against. The pillows were too hard to wrap a finger around.
So while she curled up, Greed snuck in like a ghost to tuck his bare feet under the blankets and his arms around her with a happy, cheeky grin.
