Surprising herself the last question made her raise her eyebrows. Not because she didn't think she would never hear that, because she knew Victor liked her quite a bit and such things would go naturally. She had time to hear that if he wanted to ever say that. "Papou. I've never brought anyone to you." Despite his oddness and his temperament she did like to have his blessing, and hopeful approval.
She also felt if he knew that she considered his opinion valuable, it would be even better. She helpfully ignored the last guy she'd seen was when she'd still lived in Australia. "I asked Victor, because he found out about beings like you a few weeks ago. And despite that, all that fear and confusion, he's still here."
She shrugged, "I'm pretty sure he's fairly fond of me Papou. And I like him. Enough to make him come over and meet you, because I love you." She smiled to her grandfather. "And you're important. I know Miranda likes him, and Mom seems to do the same. I think that says a lot."
